Nathaniel Clyne seem to be a point of interest from several clubs in the English premier league ahead of this summer transfers. Despite Manchester united and Chelsea showing their commitment, Southampton hopes that the 24 year old star will snub the offers and remain in his current club.
Manchester were however prompted to swap Hernandez for Nathaniel in a move to stop Chelsea from signing him. When asked in an interview, Les Reed, Southampton executive director said that he is confident that Clyne will not take the offer from the red devils and instead will sign a new contract with them.
In the contrary, Information from reliable sources claim that Nathaniel has one more year with the club, but he is not interested in committing his future there. Reed also told journalists that they are in constant communication with the player hoping to get a positive outcome.
With few games to go this season, reed claimed that they need him to focus on them away from the negotiations and wait until the end of the season to know the way forward. Despite making his full England debut in November last year, Nathaniel has managed to showcase his talent that have earned him respect among soccer fanatics including international coaches.
