Petr Cech has revealed that he might consider leaving Chelsea, if he remains to be second choice to the Belgian 22 year old, Thilbaut Courtois. Cech hasn’t started a game this season in the premier league and made his first appearance in the premier league in last week’s game against Arsenal. It is a shame for a player of such quality and vast experience to remain on the bench and Cech knows that he needs to be on the field saving penalties and punching corners in the field rather than staying out on bench.

Petr Cech has made more than 500 appearances, kept 150 cleans sheets in the blues shirt in a career that has stretched 10 years. Cech has to keep an eye on the Euro 2016 qualifiers and the main tournament and staying on the bench is not going to help his chances of making the National team or helping his team reach to higher levels in the tournament.

“I have not spoken to anybody at the club but if the situation will not start to improve for me then I will want to solve it.” Cech said in an interview with the Czech radio. This suggests that Petr Cech would look to leave the club if he doesn’t get enough game time. I would say that it would be a good move. A player of his caliber doesn’t deserve to be on the bench.

I learned all about life with a ball at my feet. Soccer allows me to push the limitation of creativity and express myself without saying a word. Soccer is my addiction. I train. I play, and I repeat every single day.
