The transfer window is just around the corner expected to begin in January 2015. Most clubs are looking forward to signing new players to enhance their current squad as they push to achieve their set objectives this season.

Soccer players also wish to join new clubs that will see them get to greater heights in their career. Nigel de jong is set to begin talks with AC Milan management to extend his contract which is expected to expire by next summer.

If there are no deals to be signed before the expiration period, then the Dutch player will be in the free agent pool in January transfer window. Despite attracting attention from other football clubs, Nigel claims that he is not looking for a new challenge.

During the last transfer window, Manchester United under new management of the Dutch man, Louis Van Gaal were linked with De jong and there were rumors that he will sign a contract with the red devils.

If Nigel signs a new contract with the red devils, then he will be under familiar surroundings and management after spending three years at Manchester city since 2009 to 2012. He has also been under Van Gaal during his national duty playing for his country.

Paul Koroma
