Houston head coach, Dominic Kinnear was denied a win at home following the 2-1 loss to the New England Revolution.

Kinnear will leave Houston Dynamo for San Jose Earthquakes at the end of the season after spending 9 years at Dynamo. Although Houston managed to get in the score sheet earlier than their rivals, they failed to defend the goal or add something on their rivals net.

However, New England seemed to dominate the match in the first 25 minutes with dynamo struggling to gain possession but all in vain. They managed their first goal of the match in the 37th minute through Giles Barnes strike which gave him the 11th goal this season.

During the second half, both teams began on a high note, but Andrew Farrell left the pitch with an injury after he was brought down by Taylor, dynamo defender who received a yellow card.

Lee nguyen was the man of the match after he managed to bring revolution 2 goals up in the 65th minute and 87th minute during the Eastern conference Semifinal.

New England revolution are now at 52 points, and three points above sporting Kansasa city who are on third place. On 25th October, New England Revolution are expected to host Toronto FC.
