Arsenal has suffered yet another blow after Mesut Özil was ruled out for seven more weeks. Arsenal have suffered several losses due to injuries that affected them since the commencement of the season.

In the first week of October, Ozil sustained a partial ligament tear after a 2-0 loss against the blues. Arsenal hoped that the German international would be back in action before the busy festive season begins. The 25 year old star however revealed that he will be off the pitch for 7 more weeks following a knee injury.

He will return to full training by early 2015 depending on his condition and fitness in January. However, arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger have managed to make perfect replacements and helped the squad to display an impressive performance in premier league matches.

After 11 matches, arsenal have won 4, lost 2 and drew in 5 games. The club is now at the 6th position with 17 points and 12 points behind the league leaders, Chelsea who are yet to be beaten. Arsenal will also play without several players who are sidelined by injuries.

Ozil joins Olivier Giroud, Mathieu Debuchy and Laurent Koscielny who are out for a considerable long period due to injuries that has acted as a big blow to the club.
