France Football is reporting that Ligue 1 powerhouses Marseille are planning an ambitious swoop for Leicester City hotshot Riyad Mahrez.

It is believed that the Foxes are ready to cash in on the Algerian footballer and they would seriously consider offers in the region of €35 million.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is a big fan of Mahrez and he is expected to make his move, while Marseille are keen as well.

L’OM have already lured Dimitri Payet and Patrice Evra to Stade Velodrome and they plan to attract few more high-profile footballers in the summer.

After playing a key role to help Leicester City lift the Premier League trophy last term, Mahrez has struggled for form this season, but he remains regarded as one of the league’s best wingers and a big club move appears on the horizon.
