Following an entertaining encounter between Manchester city and the FA cup finalists Aston Villa, Manchester city managed to climb up to the second position in the premier league table following a 3-2 victory.

Sergio Aguero gave man city the leading score 3 minutes in to the match after a disappointing mistake by Brad Guzan, Aston villa goal keeper.

21 minutes in to the second half, Manuel Pellegrini side seemed to be comfortable in the pitch after doubling their lead in the 66th minute after Aleksandar Kolarov curled in a free kick. 2 minutes later, Tom Cleverley found the back of the net to give Aston villa the first goal in the match.

They did not stop at that and in the 85th minute, their efforts were rewarded through Sanchez, posing the score sheet at 2-2. Less than 60 seconds later, Man city were back on the lead when fernandinho found the back of the net to secure three points in the match.

They are now in the second place and a point ahead of arsenal who currently have two games at hand. They are also 2 points ahead of Manchester united who have one game at hand against Everton expected to go down on 26th.
