As 2014-2015 premier league season approaches the pick, a report by Telegraph revealed that the red devils suffered the most injuries. Louis Van Gaal’s united squad has endured a total of 68 injuries in this season campaign putting them at the top of the injury list.
On the other hand, the league leaders, Chelsea have endured a total of 43 injuries in the same duration. Ironically, Burnley are lucky with the least injuries in the list with only 24 injuries. The gunners are second, below Manchester united with 66 injuries while Liverpool follow with 52 players injured. The second placed in the premier league table Manchester city have a record of 51 players being injured this season.
In October last year, a report revealed that Wenger’s squad had a total of 889 injuries since August 2002. Earlier this season, ten players of Manchester united were sidelined by injuries keeping off the pitch on their way to recovery.
Michael carrick, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, and Daley Blind were also all ruled out the pitch earlier this month and did not feature in united squad that played against the blues. The report on Thursday also revealed that Luke Shaw has been the most affected sustaining a total of 6 setbacks since he joined the red devils from Southampton.
