UC Sampdoria v Juventus FC - Serie A

Manchester United are now level with eternal rivals, Manchester City as they have also secured their 1st signing of the season in Villareal defender, Eric Bailly. City landed Gundogan last week, and they have now been linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and he could become the 2nd official signing. The African striker and goalmachine has always been linked with an exit away from the Signal Iduna Park, with the likes of Madrid, Arsenal and Barcelona reportedly interested in his signature. But Guardiola looks set to beat them all in landing his services. The central defensive duo of John Stones and Aymeric Laporte are still under the radar of the Etihad outfit as far as summer transfer moves are concerned. As regards Paul Pogba, the club has quit as they won’t be pursuing the highly-rated France international any longer. The £65million price tag on his head has put off the new coach, and he would rather pursue the signatures of other players instead. And that could open door for Mourinho to finally get his target player. The Portuguese wanted the former United player at the Stamford Bridge last summer, but nothing worked out. However, with Zlatan’s agent, Mino Raiola also representing the Juve star, a move could be on the books.

Liverpool are also making the rounds as the EPL sides make preparations for the transfer market. They have been declared favorites to land Southampton’s forward, Sadio Mane. Formerly linked with Manchester United, the former Salzburg player’s splendid form last season has earned his deserved attention, but Jose Mourinho isn’t convinced entirely and the Red Devils won’t be making a move for him. Klopp is said to have been impressed with the star player after he scored on both occasions of their league fixtures, and he wants the club to pay £30million for his services. Both clubs have a great business relationship together, with the likes of Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne and Dejan Lovren having arrived from Southampton in recent seasons. And as Benteke’s future continue to come under doubts, the player himself has declared he isn’t ready to leave Anfield unless he’s declared unwanted by the coach. After making just 14 EPL starts last term, the 25-year-old is considering the future and says he would talk about it after the Euros.

Arsenal’s move for Jamie Vardy is still under threat as his Leicester City teammates are set to convince the star player to stay. Jack Wilshere is said to be key in convincing the 29-year-old to agree to a move to the Emirates. Kasper, Morgan and Huth all want Vardy to remain at the King Power Stadium, and it remains unknown if he would stay or go. But one player is already throwing himself at the North London side. Relegated Newcastle are bound to lose 1 of their own in France international, Moussa Sissoko as he wants to remain in the EPL. The midfield veteran wants an Arsenal move and Newcastle are ready to sell for only £20million. On the other hand, Theo Walcott wants to remain despite the exit links. The winger has seen limited playing time in recent times, and with the likes of Vardy and Morata linked with summer arrivals, he is sure to become a permanent squad member.

I learned all about life with a ball at my feet. Soccer allows me to push the limitation of creativity and express myself without saying a word. Soccer is my addiction. I train. I play, and I repeat every single day.
