Le 10 Sport is reporting that Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery might be returning to Stade Velodrome in the summer.

The 34-year-old joined the Bavarians from Marseille back in 2007 and he went on to become one of Europe’s leading wingers.

However, it would appear as though Bayern Munich are ready to offload Ribery at the end of the season and they have reportedly offered free-spending Marseille a chance to recruit the veteran winger.

L’OM chiefs recently met with their Bavarian counterparts and they were informed of the possibility to sign the French footballer.

It remains to be seen whether Marseille will make their move, considering that they’ve got quite a few quality options on the wings, but they may not be able to resist temptation to sign the player of Ribery’s stature.

During the ten years with Bayern, the highly rated footballer scored 110 goals and produced 173 assists in 352 competitive appearances.
