UEFA Champions League"Borussia Monchengladbach v Manchester City"

The best player in the Premier League for the month of November is set to be voted for again by fans, and here are the 5 nominees adjudged to be worthy of such adulation.

Diego Costa

After failing to pick up the award last time out, the Chelsea striker has been nominated again.

For all 3 league games played, the Spain international was helpful to the Blues’ rise to the top helping them record 3 victories.

In the 5-nil thrashing of Everton, the 28-year-old provided a goal, and when play resumed from the internal break, he was in his elements again, this time against Middlesbrough.

Costa bagged the only goal of the game to secure Conte’s side all 3 points that shot them to the top of the league.

He capped a wonderful month performance with a fine assist, providing Moses with the goal that downed Tottenham for the first time ever this season.

Jordan Pickford

The young English keeper (52) is behind only Heaton (62) in number of saves, and his heroics in goal during the month saved Sunderland, twice.

He kept out Bournemouth from getting an equalizer at the Vitality Stadium during the Black Cats’ first ever win of the season, and was also available to keep their 1st clean sheet of the season against Hull in a 3-nil victory.

It took a brilliant Origi strike to break the resolve of the 22-year-old at Anfield, as he kept every one of the Reds shots from the net for 75 minutes.

Matt Phillips

West Brom’s Scottish winger was the club’s most influential as Tony Pulis’ side secured 7 points in the month of November.

Against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, he scored and also provided a goal as the Baggies got a vital win away from home.

In their next match and victory, a 4-nil victory against Burnley, the former QPR wideman got his 2nd goal of the season and also provided one.

The 25-year-old wrapped up the month with yet again another assist at the KCOM Stadium, and is looking like their saviour already after arriving in summer.

Pedro

The former Barcelona forward was a big reason Chelsea won against Tottenham, as it was he who sparked a comeback right before halftime with his equalizer.

The 29-year-old also got 1 goal against Everton, and assisted twice in the 5-0 shellacking of Koeman’s men. Pedro has played 6 straight games for Chelsea and isn’t looking to give up his newly-found starting spot anytime soon.

Sergio Aguero

The Argentina international bagged 3 goals in November, with his brace crucial in seeing City come from behind to win at the Turf Moor in the last matchday.

Kun also hit the bull’s eye against Middlesbrough and was unlucky not to have seen that goal secure them all 3 points as a Roon equalizer at the death snatched 2 crucial points away from Guardiola.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Despite playing just twice having missed out on matchday 12 action against Arsenal, the former PSG man hit 3 goals to keep United within touching distance of the top 4 spots.

His brace against Swansea handed the Red Devils their 5th win of the season, while he also notched the equalizer against West Ham on Sunday.

Paul Koroma

I learned all about life with a ball at my feet. Soccer allows me to push the limitation of creativity and express myself without saying a word. Soccer is my addiction. I train. I play, and I repeat every single day.
