Manchester City v Chelsea - Premier League

We are almost close to the second half of the season, while the winter transfer window is just barely a month away as things get tougher and more competitive in the 2016-17 English Premier League.

Matchweek 14 resumes on Saturday, and action continues all through the weekend until Monday night.

Here are all fixtures and predictions.

Saturday

Manchester City v Chelsea

Crystal Palace v Southampton

Stoke City v Burnley

Sunderland v Leicester City

Tottenham v Swansea

West Brom v Watford

West Ham v Arsenal

Sunday

Bournemouth v Liverpool

Everton v Man. United

Monday

Middlesbrough v Hull City

The Etihad Stadium welcomes the high flying Chelsea team on the 1st game of the day and matchday.

This is the EPL’s answer to the La Liga’s El Clasico going down just hours after the clash of the Blues, and it can be expected the match gives viewers good value.

Will Pep oversee Conte’s defeat or even draw for the first time in 8 league games?

Prediction: Draw

Palace are just a point about the drop zone, and rumors have it that Alan Pardew is just a defeat away from the sack.

Considering how solid Southampton have been, the English tactician can as well start packing his bag, as getting a draw even right at the Selhurst won’t be easy against this Saints’ side.

Prediction: Southampton to win

Mid-table targeting teams Stoke, and Burnley are set to do battle at the bet365 stadium, and despite their low-profile, this match could be the most exciting of the day.

Just a point separates these teams, and they sure would be giving all to get those points.

Prediction: Draw

The Black Cats play host to the struggling defending champions, and given how poor Leicester City have been, there isn’t just a team they can beat with ease any longer.

Another loss, and it won’t be an upset, as Sunderland are becoming stronger these days.

Prediction: Sunderland to win

Tottenham will hope to immediately bounce back from their 1st EPL defeat of the season when they welcome the Swans later in the day.

Kane could be the one to do the damage having recently signed a 6-year contract extension, and his first game after such an occasion is bound to be played with much inspiration.

Prediction: Tottenham to win

West Brom (9th) and Watford (8th) have been surprising to say the least this term. And both seem to be pursuing an Europa qualifying spot, not safety.

How they fare against each other at The Hawthorns will prove which is the more serious side about this lofty ambition.

Prediction: West Brom to win

It’s yet another London derby, with Arsenal set to visit West Ham at the Olympic Stadium for the last game of the day.

The Hammers produced a great performance to hold United at Old Trafford last weekend, and how they do against the freescoring Gunners will determine a lot in their rise or otherwise.

Prediction: Arsenal to win

On Sunday, the Reds visit Vitality Stadium, and will hope to leave with all 3 points considering how depleted their squad has suddenly become.

Eddie Howe side plays one of the best footballs we’ve seen this season, and it would interest us to see how this particular clash goes down between 2 fine tacticians.

Prediction: Liverpool to win

Manchester United have another tough encounter to deal with as they play Everton at the Goodison Park.

A draw will actually be a good result for the Red Devils, and how the Merseyside club challenges this team should be an interesting watch.

Prediction: Draw

On Monday, the matchday comes to an end with a clash between former Championship sides Middlesbrough, and Hull City.

This is just some 2 teams trying to stay afloat in the EPL. Expect nothing else than that type of football.

Prediction: ‘Boro to win

I learned all about life with a ball at my feet. Soccer allows me to push the limitation of creativity and express myself without saying a word. Soccer is my addiction. I train. I play, and I repeat every single day.
