Spanish daily newspaper AS is reporting that Borussia Dortmund winger Ousmane Dembele is interested in joining Barcelona.

The Frenchman had an opportunity to move to Camp Nou last summer, but he eventually chose the Millionaires as he was worried about fierce competition for places at Barcelona.

That proved a very good decision as Dembele enjoyed an excellent campaign at Signal-Iduna Park, but he is now being linked with a summer exit.

Namely, the 20-year-old plans to leave the club if head coach Thomas Tuchel quits and he has told his agent to stay in touch with Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund chiefs have no intention of letting Dembele leave, but much will depend on whether they can sort out their differences with the boss.

Ousmane Dembele has been in excellent form this season, having managed 9 goals and 20 assists in 47 competitive outings.

I learned all about life with a ball at my feet. Soccer allows me to push the limitation of creativity and express myself without saying a word. Soccer is my addiction. I train. I play, and I repeat every single day.
