Following a renewed rivalry between Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, the match between the two soccer giants in Europe attracted thousands of fans at Emirates stadium.

Arsenal dominated the match, but that did not count as the blues could not let them get the back of their net. With home ground advantage, they created plenty of opportunities, but Thibaut Courtois kept the ball off the net.

Though Chelsea showed their interest of beating Arsenal, they struggled but forced to share a point at the end following a scoreless draw. Oscar’s efforts were cleared off the line in the first half and Ramires was unable to convert an open opportunity denying Chelsea an early lead.

Mourinho was happy to extend his unbeaten run against the gunners to 13 matches. Ten points separate the two teams with Chelsea sitting at the top of the league and arsenal third placed behind Manchester city, but with one game at hand. Chelsea are two games away from wrapping up this season’s title.

They only have to beat crystal palace and Leicester city in their last 2 matches. Arsenal still have the second place at hand, though a competitive post being eyed by Manchester city and Manchester united, as well.

Paul Koroma

I learned all about life with a ball at my feet. Soccer allows me to push the limitation of creativity and express myself without saying a word. Soccer is my addiction. I train. I play, and I repeat every single day.
