Brazil international winger Douglas Costa is close to leaving Bayern Munich during the summer transfer window.

Flamboyant forward is thought to be disillusioned with life in Munich and his place in the team under Carlo Ancelotti, whereas he was also frustrated to learn that Bundesliga giants would not meet his demands over the new contract at Allianz Arena.

The 26-year-old Brazilian has only made 14 Bundesliga appearances last season, during which time he bagged four goals and provided 3 assists.

Former Shakhtar Donetsk star has been heavily linked with a number of big-name European sides, Sky Sports reports that Juventus have emerged as firm favourites to land the highly sought-after winger.

Serie A champions are reported to have already opened negotiations with Bayern Munich who have determined the asking price of €50 million for the wantaway star.

Douglas Costa has also informed Juventus about his personal demands, asking for yearly wages in excess of €7 million.
