Beaten 4-2 against Real Sociedad, after leading 2-0, Real Madrid will have to go back to the drawing board to figure out how to play without Xabi Alonso.

Sergio Ramos and Gareth Bale put Madrid in the lead after just 11 minutes into the game. However, they quickly fell apart defensively as Real Sociedad creep up on them and took the lead.

On the positive side the European champions missed a lot of chances before and after giving up the lead. 🙂

The coach, Carlo Ancelotti, express his disappointment of the performance of his team. “The first 30 minutes were very good and we showed great concentration. For the rest of the time it was very bad – we thought the game was over.”

“We gave away too many fouls and corners. I do not like it when the team plays like that. We need to change quickly. This defeat changes nothing; we need to change our attitude and concentration. We need time to settle this. Something has to change and it will change.”

I really hope something change very quickly for Real Madrid, because it was too painful to watch them give up a lead so easily.

I learned all about life with a ball at my feet. Soccer allows me to push the limitation of creativity and express myself without saying a word. Soccer is my addiction. I train. I play, and I repeat every single day.
