Il Messaggero is reporting that AC Milan have launched a fresh assault on Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia.

The Rossoneri are determined to bring the Argentine to San Siro and they appear to have made a breakthrough in their pursuit.

Namely, Il Messaggero claims that Lucas Biglia will not travel to pre-season camp with his teammates, meaning an agreement over AC Milan switch is on the horizon.

With one year left on his contract, the 31-year-old is looking for a new challenge and he appears to be tempted by the prospect of joining the Rossoneri.

This should mark the end of a four-year spell at Stadio Olimpico, during which Biglia made 109 league appearances and scored 13 goals in total.
